We are ceasing in-person classroom sessions entirely due to a decline in demand. Given customers’ changing preferences, traditional in-person classroom sessions have shifted to self-paced online classes.
While we miss the dynamic of teaching face-to-face in the classroom, we will now concentrate on enhancing our in car training program, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the skills necessary for safe driving.
This change allows us to further enrich in-car training programs with the essential skills for safe driving, ensuring you feel confident and prepared on the road. Plus, we’re excited to offer more flexible payment options—you won’t need to pay upfront, and there’s no payment required at the time of sign-up through our website. We’re here to support your journey to becoming a safe and skilled driver every step of the way.

Flexible In-Car Lesson Hours
We offer flexible in-car lesson scheduling, tailored to fit to your schedule.
Experienced Instructors
GR8 Drivers brings over 30 years of teaching experience. Our instructors aren’t only trained in driving, but they bring extensive experience in instructional techniques itself.
Free Pick-up & Drop-off
Our instructors will pick you up and drop you off at your home before and after lessons. All you have to do is come out and learn.
Evening & Weekend Courses
We understand you may have other commitments and activities going on, so you can attend our in-class sessions during the weekend or weekday evenings.
Vehicle for Road Test
We offer vehicles you’re able to book vehicles for your road tests through some packages or separately.
Flexible Payment Plan
We offer flexible payment plans to suit your needs. We accept cash, cheque and most major credit cards.

Frequently asked questions
You have two options in paying for your courses:
1. You may pay in full at the beginning of your course, or
2. You may pay half of your balance prior to starting your in-class lessons, and the remaining balance prior to starting your in-car lessons.
The driver education course may be completed in 2 weeks if you regularly attend in-class sessions and schedule frequent in-car lessons.
We accept cash, cheque, and most types of major credit cards.
Once you have completed the course, you may order proof of your certificate from a Service Ontario branch or the Service Ontario website. Click here to order your driver’s licence history.
Our instructor’s permit allows us to provide driving lessons across the Durham Region. If you reside outside of Durham, we may be able to provide you lessons within the Durham Region.
